2019 University of Hawai‘i Maui Master Gardener Training Course Application

Thank you for your interest in the 2019 University of Hawai'i Maui Master Gardener Program Training Course.

The training course will meet every Wednesday, from 8:00 AM -12:00 PM beginning January through May 2019.

Cost of the course is $250 and includes training manual, handouts, supplies, and instruction.

To become a Certified Master Gardener all UH MG volunteers are expected to provide 50 hours of volunteer service, with 25 hours devoted to answering home gardening questions at the Master Gardener Help Desk, between the end of training  and June 1, 2020.

Upon submission of your application you will need to complete an in-person interview.  Interviews will be conducted at upcoming informational meetings located at the Community Services Bldg. on the UH Maui College Campus on the following dates in 2018:

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 10:00 AM TO 12:00 PM

Notification of acceptance into the 2019 UH Master Gardener Training course will be sent by email by November 30, 2018.

THE FIRST TRAINING CLASS STARTS WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2019.
