Lauhoe Cohort Program Application | Leeward Community College Academic School Year 2021-2022
Aloha mai kāua,

The Lauhoe Cohort Program is a First Year Experience (FYE) Cohort open to all college students of all ethnic backgrounds, the goal of which is to increase the campuses’ capacity by increasing enrollment, persistence, success, graduation and transfer rates with a special interest towards the Native Hawaiian student population.

Our mission is to provide our first year cohort with wrap around services such as a summer bridge program, weekly student success seminars, Hawaiian cultural and community engagement, peer mentorship, tailored academic advising, pre-selected anchor courses, career exploration, and stipend awards. We believe that through a communal effort, we will be able to provide the foundation and support needed for all of our students to obtain a college degree here at Leeward Community College as well as a plan to transfer to a 4-year college.

We invite you to apply for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year! If you may have any questions or concerns, please contact Kaimana Namihira at 808-455-0292 or via email at lancetn@hawaii.edu. Mahalo piha!
