UROP holds information sessions at the beginning of each semester (January in the Spring and September in the Fall) for anyone wishing to learn more about UROP programs.
Currently, all information sessions are hybrid (in-person and via Zoom) and require registration. When UROP holds an in-person information session, walk-ins are welcome and no registration is required. Information Sessions usually last about 30 minutes to an hour.

You may attend the hybrid information sessions via Zoom OR in person. Upon registering you will receive both the Zoom link and room information so you can attend in either format.
Intended Audience: Undergraduate students, faculty and staff interested in learning more about UROP’s various funding opportunities and resources
Intended Audience: Undergraduate students with little to no research/creative work experience interested in getting help finding a mentor and/or interested in exploring the research/creative work process; Faculty and staff interested in mentoring ERC students or interested in connecting with undergraduate students on ForagerOne
Intended Audience: Undergraduate students interested in conducting mentored research/creative work or presenting their mentored research/creative work; Faculty and staff interested in mentoring students

Departments and offices on UH Mānoa campus are welcome to request UROP staff to come to your class, orientation, faculty/staff meeting, etc. and provide UROP Information Session. Please fill out and submit the following Information Session Request Form below.
