Thank you for your interest in attending this community
resilience "HUB" planning conversation. This is a great opportunity
to learn about the new Resilience "HUB" model for disaster planning
that is being used across the United States and developed as communities
struggle to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. What many have learned is that it
is important to plan for tough times before an emergency scenario arises.
Communities that have a plan, survive, and resilience HUBS can provide a
place to come together when neighbors need each other most.
Please join us for an evening of learning and sharing. Come with your
questions and ideas! Light refreshments will be provided, and you are invited
to take part in the neighborhood networking hour prior to the workshop to hear mini
presentations from the students and local community members, enjoy a
"gallery walk" of tables and resources, and meet like-minded others.
This workshop is part of a research study approved by the University of
Hawaii. IRB:2022-00652. Study information can be found here: http://go.hawaii.edu/28C. Please direct all questions to cerene15@hawaii.edu.
