Community Resilience "HUB" Workshop RSVP:  East Honolulu

Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 || Wailupe Community Park 939 Hind Iuka Drive || 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

**Neighborhood Networking prior to workshop

Thank you for your interest in attending this community resilience "HUB" planning conversation. This is a great opportunity to learn about the new Resilience "HUB" model for disaster planning that is being used across the United States and developed as communities struggle to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. What many have learned is that it is important to plan for tough times before an emergency scenario arises. Communities that have a plan, survive, and have resilience HUBS can provide a place to come together when neighbors need each other most.

Please join us for an evening of learning and sharing. Come with your questions and ideas! Light refreshments will be provided, and you are encouraged to come early for neighborhood networking at 5:30 pm and hear presentations from students, local community members, first responders and City and County agencies as well as enjoy a "gallery walk" of tables, resources, and maps.

This workshop is part of a research study approved by the University of Hawaii. IRB:2022-00652. Study information can be found here: http://go.hawaii.edu/28C
