Suggest a theme for the 2025 conference?
Each year we choose a theme that is relevant to our Pac Rim values and objectives in order to create a central focus for conference events and presentations. You’re welcome to note more than one theme idea here if you would like. Some prior year's themes include: "Beyond Access: Building a Culture of Belonging", "Coming Together & Moving Forward", "Mobilize for Action", "Innovate!", & "Connect!"

Suggest strands/topics for the 2025 program?
Strands represents the category, while topics represents specific areas that fall within a strand. The 2024 strands/topics can be found online.

Interested in serving in a role as a strand chair? 
Between June-December 2024 chairs are responsible for a conference strand by: serving as the main contact and decision maker; recruiting co-chairs and reviewers; write one-paragraph strand description; review proposals August-December 2024; share call for proposals; help recruit presentations; contribute your strand's schedule agenda; and participate in post-conference discussions. All strands chairs are required to attend the conference.

Interested in serving as a proposal reviewer?
Between August-December 2024 reviewers will complete anonymous peer reviews for one-page proposals, complete 5+ yes/no questions, and provide additional comments. If selected, strand chairs will contact reviewers directly.

Interested in being a volunteer for PacRim 2025?
Each year our team seeks the help of a group of volunteers to assist with various tasks during the week of the conference. These tasks could include: helping pack materials, being stationed for assistance at one of our information tables, assisting in-room presentations by monitoring door access, and more. Volunteers also get the benefit of experiencing various parts of our conference while they work in their respective roles.
